Bio

Born in 1953 to international style architects,
raised on powdered skim milk and Mies van der Rohe,
sewed most of my own clothes (awning stripe palazzo pants in 7th grade??)
in high school, stopped my bike at the most inopportune times
to pick up interesting pieces of rust in busy intersections,
eliminated bad words like “shut up” from my vocabulary
to raise two glorious children,
earned degrees in Textiles and Interior Design from UW-Madison.
I'm in love with color, texture, and form and
making extraordinary things out of ordinary objects!
